IAAB's Youth Camps engage, educate, and empower Iranian youth in diaspora through an inclusive, intentional space where they discover a strong sense of self and become agents of change.
New Counselor Application
Counselors must participate in virtual trainings prior to IAAB's camps, as well as an in-person training period held in the Washington D.C. area July 2nd-6th.
IAAB will cover all counselors' basic food, ground transportation, lodging, and materials for the duration of the training and camp, including expenses related to day trips for those selected to participate in IAAB’s youth camps. The sole financial responsibility of counselors is their transportation (by air or otherwise) to and from Reagan National Airport (DCA).
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Applicants must:
Be currently enrolled college, graduate school students, or young professionals
Demonstrate maturity, as well as interest and experience in leadership development
Possess qualities that will lead them to be good role models for others
Demonstrate a strong interest in working with youth
Counselors are selected on a competitive basis. IAAB is strongly committed to building a diverse team that represents a range of opinions, experiences and perspectives. As such, individuals of all backgrounds, gender, race, culture, sexuality, and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
