BECOME A MENTEE

Mentoring is a relationship between two individuals aimed at personal or professional development. Their relationship is entirely based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect.

Being connected with a mentor and building a constructive relationship can be a fulfilling part of a mentee’s career. Some benefits we hope all the mentees will gain include the following, but not limited to:

  • Reflect on your career goals and challenges.

  • Receive feedback and guidance from a more experienced colleague.

The most successful mentees are those who are motivated and feel empowered to plan and manage the direction of their professional or personal life. They take responsibility for their development, learning, and growth. Furthermore, they are open to coaching, feedback, and guidance from the mentor.

  • Currently an undergraduate student at any university/college in the U.S. or a recent 2 year graduate student from undergrad.

  • Have attended camp Ayandeh or Javan at least once.
